Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual trading platform, has introduced trading for PumpFun's yet-to-be-launched PUMP token. The MOVE allows traders to speculate on the token's potential market price ahead of its official release. The platform announced the listing of PUMP-USD hyperps in response to community demand, offering up to 3x leverage for both long and short positions.

Within hours of the listing, the PUMP-USD pair saw explosive activity, with trading volume exceeding $40 million in the first 24 hours. The token opened at $0.004952, surged to $0.015 during initial trading, and later stabilized NEAR $0.005. Hyperliquid's hyperp contracts, designed for unlaunched tokens, use an 8-hour moving average of internal mark prices to mitigate manipulation risks and enhance stability.
